I have been a freelancer for more than 5 months now. And so far everything has been great and I don’t see a reason why I should turn back and get a normal, full time job like everyone else again.
I didn’t even regret my decision to quit my full time job 4 months ago. In fact, I wouldn’t even apply for the job 6 months earlier if it was not because of my girlfriend, I don’t blame her for that though.
I know, four months is nothing, but everything has been fun so far and I plan to keep it that way for the rest of my life. I know it is possible to do that. Yaro Starak, Darren Rowse and John Chow can do it.
Here are a few reasons why I decided to become a full time freelancer:
Time freedom – I can do whatever I want whenever I want to do it
Money freedom – Freelancers are paid based on the job that we do, so I don’t have to wait till the end of the month before I get paid.
It’s fun to work on something that you’re passionate about. I enjoy being the first one to wake up and start writing early in the morning.
I have not kept any track of my earnings and I think the birth of this blog is going to be a good start to track it and share it with my readers.
It’s Sunday, 7.40am in my place and I am going to finish some articles today. I will update this blog again later today. Before I leave, here are a few things I would like to share with you.
Life is short. Discover your burning desire and breathe life into it. Live it as if you will die tomorrow.
